Code Generation for VTF Gateway

VTF (Virtual Test Framework) is a useful foundation for virtual-testing applications and researches in the field of virtual-testing technology. VTF Gateway is used to interconnect VTF application systems and HLA simulation systems. Because of variability of VTF APIs and repeated development of bridge federate agent, VTF Gateway should be reimplemented every time when interconnecting to a new application system. Motivated by lightening the burden of users, ensuring quality as well as efficiency, we came up with a suitable technology of code generation for VTF Gateway by using the code framework and GDD (Gateway Data Description) file. At the same time, we illustrated an algorithm called ATU (Attribute Tree Update) in the process of code generation to generate attribute-updating statements. It turned out that the generated code is effective and efficient. And we could get 100% automatically generated VTF Gateway. The ATU algorithm is proved to be good both in time and space.
