Worst-case performance validation of safety-critical control systems with dropped samples
Tobias Bund, Frank Slomka · 2015
Safety critical control systems are widely spread over different domains. For such systems, a specified minimum amount of control performance must hold under all circumstances. Thereby such control systems are frequently applied in mass products, where cost reasons result in the effort to reduce the system platform's resources. As a consequence, these restricted system resources lead to negative effects like delays and dropped samples. When verifying the control systems performance, a system engineer has to take the worst case platform effects into account.
