Microprocessor Based Concentrator for Betting System

A microprocessor used in the role of a 'Store-and-Forward Concentrator' is described in the case study of a Betting System wherein a Motorola 6800 handles the storage and queuing of bets to and from the betting terminals and communicates to the host computer using HDLC protocol. Interest is here centred around HDLC techniques and in conclusion a brief comparison is given between the Motorola and Intel protocol chips.
