BODMAS, BOMDAS and DAMNUS

Many of today's students will be learning computer programming languages, where each language has its own set of rules for order of operations. Even if they have learned one of the above rules perfectly, it is unlikely that it will be the one used in the language they need to learn. Why add extra frustration by implying in the primary school that what is learned there will last forever?
