Glancing at this website reveals that old programming languages never die and new programming languages continue to be created. Many of the most popular languages are object-oriented, from C++ to Java and C# to Python. With new programming languages continuing to evolve and even more applications being developed with special purpose scripting languages, it is more important than ever for students in Computer Science to be well versed in Compiler construction. Yet, running a successful Undergraduate Compiler course is difficult.
