'Effectiveness of Suppression Orders' in the Face of Social Media

The use of Facebook to name the alleged killer in the Kapunda murders before a Suppression Order was granted has highlighted the potential of social networking sites to undermine these orders. It prompted Attorney-General John Rau to take the matter up with his interstate colleagues as an important issue going beyond individual borders.
