Linda Werner, Jill Denner, Shannon Campe · ETC Press eBooks · 2014
Computer game programming can be used to engage middle school students in the development of computational thinking skills. This paper describes a framework, Game Computational Sophistication, which is used to evaluate students' games regarding their computational sophistication. Best practices include suggested assessment strategies, and ways that teachers can use computer game programming to maximize computational thinking.
