REACTOR PHYSICS FOR THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. PART II

J.C. James · OSTI OAI (U.S. Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information) · 1959

The close parallelism of the fundamental quantities of reactor physics with electrical science is extended to the basic functional characteristics of the complete reactor circuit. The reactor system is likened to a d-c shunt generators and it is shown how perturbations of the reactor depend on the analog of power and how the transient behavior may be described by comparing delayed neutron production with inductance.
