In this paper, path finding and selection technique has been presented for Multi-Hop Cooperative Mesh Networks. The selection technique is based on the Instantaneous channel conditions and local measurements, instead of location and topological information. The proposed selection technique selects the optimal source-destination path in the mesh topology. The selection technique is based on the best available channel statistics form source to relay and selection the relay-destination path by the destination in the multi-hop paths. Two scenarios are considered in our proposed finding and selection technique: 1). Multi-Hop Channel In which the direct path signal is combined with the signal through relays using MRC at destination. 2). Multi-Hop Channel Diversity in which all the previous transmission are added at each hop. The finding and selection technique is simulated using Rayleigh fading in channel modeling and both the scenarios are implemented over two relaying schemes namely Amplify-and-Forward (AF) and Decode-and-Forward (DF). Monte Carlo simulation results are shown for the proposed finding and selection technique.
