Novel Achievable Schemes for Instantaneous Amplify-and-Forward Relay Channels

高黎方 · 2013

In recent decades, advanced communications technology, especially in wireless communications and related areas, has been playing an important role in connecting people all around the world. Many new standards and models in wireless transmission, that permit data to be transmitted faster, have discovered and applied. However, there are a lot of technical obstacles in designing communication protocol that still put in front of researchers’ eyes as challenges need to overcome. In this thesis, we develop novel schemes through instantaneous amplify-and-forward mechanism of relay channels where higher bandwidth efficiency will be provided. We first review some mathematic backgrounds and references and then use them as tools for further theoretical analyses. Step by step, schemes for instantaneous amplify-and-forward relay channels will be focused. Motivated by transmission model, both single antenna and multiple antennas at related nodes cases are considered one by one. Regarding the relay selections, relays are chosen such that the transmission rates are maximized. Finally, as a part of this thesis we verify the performance of all novel achievable schemes through extensive computer simulation.
