Resection is the determination of an image’s position and orientation parameters with respect to an object space coordinate system. In the standard case, the parameters include the object space coordinates of the perspective center and three angles. In this experiment, I determine the parameters (EOPs) using collinearity space resection. Computation program in this experiment is conducted in C++ program. The initial value of EOP is set from the first experiment. Then the matrix rotation is computed by using two-dimensional conformal transformation. The EOPs is determined by several number of control points from various type data with random error and systematic one on flat, rugged, and incline terrain. The results present that the collinearity equation is robust for space resection computation, the reliability of geometry data is important to apply in space resection, the systematic error in radial lens distortion can be used in collinearity space resection, and data with random error yield worst result in collinearity space resection. The random error is quite large and probably yield blunder that affects the result.
