According to a report, eighteen percent of Australian secondary school students arrive late to school, skip a class, or miss school altogether at least once a week. Electronic attendance monitoring can help address the problem and twenty- six schools across Australia are using online roll making system, giving parents the access to a web page from outside the school to check their child's attendance record and eventually improving the attendance record.
