In the previous chapter, we discussed how to extract data from a source table and transform that data using SQL programming statements. This is a very traditional approach and works well for many professionals, particularly SQL programmers, but can feel cumbersome and tedious to work with. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
