Risk Driven Dynamic Test Based on Fuzzy Comprehensive Judgment Theory

Yu Hao Song, Pei Wang · Journal of Communication and Computer · 2010

In software projects, software testing is complex with a variety of testing methods and heavy workload. In addition, with the limit of time and efforts, testers are not able to test the software thoroughly. For this reason, this paper proposes the risk driven dynamic test based on fuzzy comprehensive judgment theory. This method can evaluate the risk in different statuses based on fuzzy comprehensive judgment theory, so as to pay more attention to the areas with high risk dynamically. It improves the traditionally discrete, biased and static testing methods, making testing dynamic with focus, which will make the whole testing work more efficient and reasonable. It will bring benefit to the improvement of software testing.
