Narrow-band and Multiple Access Interference Rejection by Adaptive Single User Receiver in Asynchronous CDMA Systems

Predrag Rapajic, Branka S. Vucetic · International Symposium on Information Theory and its Applications · 1994

The performance of two adaptive receiver structures for coherent demodulation in asynchronous code-division multiple-access (CDMA) systems in the presence of narrow-band interference (NBI) is considered. It is assumed that the adaptive receiver has no knowledge of the signature waveforms and timing of other users. The receiver is trained by a known training sequence prior to data transmission and continuously adjusted by an adaptive algorithm during data transmission. The receivers an tested by simulation over a channel with multiple access interference, narrow-band interference and additive white gaussian noise.
