Summary High Performance computing has become one of the foundational elements for Oil and Gas exploration and reservoir modeling. The size and fidelity of today’s seismic imaging and reservoir simulation technologies are testing the limits of traditional HPC architectures. To advance the industry requires new technologies, assembled in new ways, and fully leveraging the benefits of integration. Hugo will share the vision and plans for Intel’s new HPC scalable system framework and demonstrate the benefits for the Oil and Gas industry.
