Service-oriented model composition

This paper aims to deal with the automatic model composition issue by jointly using service-oriented technology and agent technology. Most existing composition methods focused on model reusability remain static and unable to self-adapt to dynamic environments. The agent (SA) concept was proposed to enable the automatic composition of component models. The main idea of the solution proposed in this paper is to encapsulate a component model into a agent (SA) so that agent based service composition methods can be applied to deal with the model composition problem. The SA method proves to perform better in dynamic environments than the traditional one. Finally, a case study was given and a service agent system prototype was built in JADE platform.
