Democratizing computer science K12 education in California: ensuring equitable access to all students: keynote address

The Alliance for California Computing Education for Students and Schools (ACCESS) is a group of researchers, CS teachers, industry and higher education faculty dedicated to expanding participation in computer science education and ensuring its accessibility to underrepresented students in CS: women and low-income students of color. This presentation will highlight our approach in seeking both statewide policy changes and school-based curricular approaches that focus on increasing opportunities for underrepresented students in computer science.
