Generally diode rectifier or phase controlled rectifier have been widely used for On-Line UPS system These AC-DC converter topologies make plentiful harmonics and low power factor to be generated in AC source side. To overcome these problems, PWM converter has been adopted In this paper the operating characteristics of PWM converter are analyzed by using simulation tool of ACSL and the experiments under steady state and transient state.
