Towards the end of last year a research survey we conducted indicated that 77% of professional accountants have no understanding of what accounting in the cloud is. This result made me realise that the term 'cloud computing' is not as broadly understood as I had assumed and the concept is, therefore, not being applied as broadly as I had hoped.
