Symmetrical formulas are used to calculate the spatial coordinates, independently of the y-displacement. Corrections for the film deformation and for errors due to optical misalignment are introduced. A technique for determining the spatial characteristics of the track by minimizing a functional construction of quantities taken in the plane of the left and right pictures is also suggested. Criteria for selecting correct measurements are developed, and computer storage and analysis of the measurements are considered. (auth)
