Advanced Project Management with Quality Assurance for Large Expert Systems

After a brief discussion of process models for the development of Expert Systems and a consideration of software quality assurance principles, the requirements for their successful integration are examined. A set of techniques are presented and discussed. Experiences from a number of projects, have provided guidelines for the application of software engineering, quality assurance and sound project management practices to expert systems development.
