Intelligent Prioritization of the Textual HTML Elements for Web Page for A/B testing

Sougata Pal · American Journal of Electronics & Communication · 2015

In recent days as per HTML 5 based Semantic web standards, there are many structural html tags available to identify and prioritize elements on a web page, but in real-life situation most of them are not in-use or not properly placed over the page, so it’s very difficult for A/B testing tools to identify structural elements using those tags. This paper is intended to resolve the problem by utilizing structural tree traversal of HTML elements over a web page even if it’s not using HTML 5 structural tags. Keywords—Semantic Web Intelligence, A/B testing, Structural Page Element Detection, HTML Page Tree, Element Siblings Relational Pattern, Phrase Similarity.
