The author recounts his emotional attachment to a legendary Fender L Series Precision guitar owned initially by the bass guitarist of the Reuben Tice band and then by himself from 1969. He narrates the various concerts in which he used the guitar and the changes he made in its form over time before eventually selling it in 1995.
