Realization of real-time digital filter by using pdp-8/l mini computer.

In this thesis, a digital filter simulator is presented. It is realized by a PDP-8/L which performs the arithmetic calculations during each sampling period. An interface for PDP-8/L is connected to a communication channel through A/D and D/A converters. It controls single cycle data breaks required to transfer data words into and out of the computer memory. Finally, several illustrative examples are presented which demonstrate how to set-up and program the simulator.
