A game programming instructional design model

Building on the results of a comprehensive research, this paper (a) describes the seven phases of a proposed instructional design model for the education of game programmers and (b) discusses the core elements, structure, hierarchy, and principles of the instructional design model in detail. The goal of this paper is to introduce a comprehensive model for game programming education and its usage and methods of practice pertaining to all relevant stakeholders including administrators, curriculum developers, content designers, and instructors.
