Creative mathematics: two activities

Pauline Davies · The Arithmetic Teacher · 1976

In my fifth-grade mathematics class, we wanted to simulate a card-sorting system for the retrieval of information. Since I had a quantity of unused, discarded time cards from a construction company, we used them for our cards. The children did all of the remaining work on the cards.
