Development of Zigbee based Localization System in Ubiquitous Sensor Network

The Zigbee based localization system in Ubiquitous Sensor Network(USN) is developed and the performance of the system is analyzed in this paper. The major developed functions are as follows: 1) the distance measurement function between the moving module and beacon modules; 2) the construction of wireless sensor network; 3) the wireless sensor network protocols; 4) the classification scheme of RSSI values; 5) the monitoring software. It is confirmed that the distance error range of less than 1.5m is 75 percents of total moving modules from the experimental results.
