IEEE 1149.4 INFRASTRUCTURE SIMPLIFIES SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL TEST

According to its mission statement, IEEE 1149.4 Standard aims at improving the controllability and observability at the device and the assembly level, and supporting mixed-signal built-in test structures. As described in this paper, IEEE 1149.4 infrastructure can also be employed for changing operating conditions in system functional test. In this way low-cost solutions may replace complex manipulation in real target environment. An example of functional test of a system including a pressure (or load) sensor is described
