Small models': a methodology for designing and investigating adaptive systems

Jason Brownlee · Swinburne figshare (Swinburne University of Technology) · 2007

Complex and adaptive systems are difficult to design and investigate, thus the need for a coherent and proven methodology for such activities is paramount. Inspired by an interpretation of the achievements of the Wright brothers in achieving the first powered flight this work summarises a methodology proposed by Goldberg as applied to the investigation and design of genetic algorithms.
