EMBROIDERY PATTERN GENERATION BY SEWING MACHINE
Yasumichi Hasegawa, K. Takeichi, Tsuyoshi Matsuo · International Conference on Performance Engineering · 1995
It is proposed that embroidery patterns are generated by using sewing machine. The equipment with sewing machine are mainly composed of a mathematical model which may be constructed by switching and other circuits. The model is called the commutative linear representation systems. Many methods of image generation being mainly intended for the realism of images, this method is a very different graphic generation from them. Embroidery pattern generation is a trial for a sort of graphic art by using sewing machine with computer, Being executed in linear operations, this generation method may be very suitable for computer algorithm or electric circuits. The effectiveness of this method is illustrated with several examples.
