Giving Your Classroom a Bit of Flash

Terry Oberg · Screen education · 2009

If Adobe Flash isn't being used in your media classroom, then it probably should be. The beauty of Flash is that it's a versatile program that can be used to create incredibly complex animations, games, websites and interactive applications and yet, at the same time, the basics can be learnt fairly quickly and can be used to create some quite amazing work. If you're going to use Flash in your classroom, it's important that you and your students aren't put off or distracted by Flash's 'bells and whistles'. Instead, focus on the basic skills that can help your students to produce incredibly creative and exciting new media. With Flash, a little bit of knowledge can go a long way.
