Research on Automatic Test Case Generation Based on Combined UML Models

To cut down the amount of test working and enhance man-machine dynamic interaction, a method that using combined UML use case diagram with activity diagram generate test cases is presented. First, according to formal definition use case diagram and activity diagram are converted to use case diagram graph and activity diagram graph, then integrate UDG and ADG into the system test graph. Then write algorithm to traverse STG to generate test cases automatically. To avoid the number of test cases caused by the concurrent structure of activity diagrams, improved ant colony algorithm is introduced to generate test cases from ADG. Finally through the concrete experiment shows the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.
