The quality of service and network management of a Multi-TDL network system
Yulin Ding, А. Филиппидис · 2011
In support of a Defence project and Net Warrior exercises in DSTO this paper discusses the use of a Link propagation model called the Tactical Quality Of Service (TQoS) to compare current and future links in an example scenario. The software tool realistically models the data that is transmitted between military platforms or testbed/ nodes in tactical environments, and adds more realism in a Net Warrior exercise. The paper then describes the model enhancement to TQoS called Network Management System Evaluation Architecture (NMSEA) for Network Management Evaluation, incorporating an agent based model of the operator activities involved in the deployment of a generalised network management system tool at the Joint Interface Control Centre (JICC) and Regional Interface Control Centre (RICC) levels.
