Development of a Peak-to-average ratio measuring unit

The paper, by R. B. Wilkinson, was published in Vol. 21, No. 12, pp. 528-31 (December 1966). It describes the design and development of a peak-to-average ratio measuring unit with particular emphasis on the method of obtaining the ratio of the two quantities. This latter circuit has a potentially wide range of applications in control and measurement devices. Circuit performance is examined and measurement errors assessed.
