Simple two‐adders CIC compensator

The design of the simplest compensation filters available for cascaded integrator‐comb (CIC) decimators to date is introducted. These filters require only two additions and can be straightforwardly realised in terms of the integer d as a design parameter, which depends on K , the number of cascaded CIC filters. The proposed compensators have the minimum phase property, useful for low‐delay applications.
