Traffic Simulation of QoS-sensitive Streaming Video User

In this paper, we perform simulations to explore the relationship between streaming video users' behavior and autocorrelation structures of traffic data with VT plot. We simulate a video delivery from a streaming server to playback clients and the users' behavior of cancelling playback. We find from the simulation results that when the traffic intensity becomes high, the cancellation rate increases and the VT plots largely decay over large timescales.
