High Level Languages for Microprocessors
GL Farr · 1978
The advantages of high level languages versus assembler are discussed. In particular an implementation of the language BCPL on the PACE microprocessor system is demonstrated. It is shown that this particular language has only a modest minimal-memory requirement and is most suited to non time-critical control applications.
