Providing Access to Technology with Edubuntu Linux

The potential of Linux in promoting low-cost and even free access to technology mandates that teacher educators familiarize themselves with the technology and the possibilities that exist to transform classrooms, schools, and districts. Linux serves as an agent of equity leveling the playing field for those who cannot afford the high cost of modern technological tools providing high quality, enterprise class tools for teaching and learning.
