The Image-Based Rendering Technology

Image-based rendering technology is totally new which is used to produce the realistic images. Compared with the traditional one, there is no need to reconstruct the real scene which is beneficial to the drawing speed. And low-configuration computers can meet it. Firstly, this paper will review the development history of IBR. Then, this essay will introduce some methods of IBR and each one's advantages and disadvantages will be analyzed. Final, the developing prospects and the current research difficulties will be put forward.
