Design of Chinese Input Method by Virtual Keyboard Based on LabWindows/CVI

In intelligent instruments, the need to input Chinese by virtual keyboard is very important. This paper introduces a method of integrating mature Chinese input methods into instruments using Lab windows/CVI. Also discussed here include: keyboard message handling, keyboard focus switching, keyboard event simulation, virtual keyboard matrix design and Chinese input method integration. Finally, an example is provided to prove the usability of this method.
