Agents’ Conflicts: New Issues
Catherine Tessier, Heinz-Jürgen Müller, Humbert Fiorino, Laurent Chaudron · Kluwer Academic Publishers eBooks · 2005
The aim of this first chapter is to set the theme of agents’ conflicts into scene, to clarify the basic terms and views which will then be deeper discussed in the following chapters, and to give the reader a guideline through the book. Several different points of view on (artificial and human) agents’ conflicts will be taken and put into context to the current literature on multi-agent systems and the subsequent chapters. Eventually an agents’ conflict handling action model will glue together these views into a general process for designing the conflict behaviour of agents. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
