The various properties of A + discussed in this section are fundamental to the theory of Moore-Penrose inverses. In many cases, proofs simply require verification that the defining equations in (2.2) are satisfied for A and some particular matrix X. Having illustrated this proof technique in a number of cases, we will leave the remaining similar arguments as exercises. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
