E. Lerner · OSTI OAI (U.S. Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information) · 1986

A prototype of a six-inch computer capable of computing speeds of up to 40 million instructions/sec is described. The computer is to weigh only 7 lbs and use only 20 W of power for navigation and autopiloting. The computer is also applicable to weapon systems, robotic control, machine vision, and aerodynamic simulations. The advantages and disadvantages of the computer's parallel design are discussed.
