High-efficiency source of a three-photon W state and its full characterization using quantum state tomography

We proposed and demonstrated a high-efficiency generation scheme of the three-photon polarization-entangled W state, which is one of two typical three-qubit entangled states. The obtained state was well characterized using a method of quantum-state tomography.
