Breaking into Bluetooth

If, like me, you’ve always assumed that Bluetooth is a temporary state of communication which the user can control by switching the device from non-discoverable to discoverable mode, you might want to think again. Research has highlighted the possibility of hacking Bluetooth devices regardless of which mode they are in. It has also demonstrated that an attacker can pair an external device with a target using no more than a patched dongle and some doctored software.
