EzGraphics: Python graphics for the classroom

Rance D. Necaise · Journal of computing sciences in colleges · 2014

This paper introduces a new Python graphics module that can be used in the classroom to help illustrate and reinforce basic programming concepts and basic algorithm development. The EzGraphics module provides tools for creating either simple graphical programs that consist of basic geometric shapes and text or basic image processing programs. The module, which has been used successfully in both CS1 and CS2 courses, encapsulates the basic features of Python's standard graphics module and hides the messy details typically required of GUI applications.
