When I first planned out this book I imagined that this chapter would be a lot longer than it is. In truth, most of the advanced techniques that I use in SQL tuning have already been addressed in earlier chapters. I just have a couple of educational, if obscure, cases to run through. Let us begin with some unusual ways to use the ROWID pseudocolumn. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
