CONTENTION-BASED OPTIMAL ROUTING METRIC FOR MULTI-HOP WIRELESS NETWORK

The goal of this paper is to investigate the nature of rout ing problems in mult-hop wireless mesh network to find out a reasonable routing framework. We introduce a new routing metric that can capture the characteristic of wireless channel to reuse routing framework that has been very successful in the wire-line network. This routing metric also take into account the load-weight at each link and give us a method to balance the load on the wireless network.
