For written tests that require the subject to give a single character response to a question, with the possibility of a score being associated with each response; the paper describes a microcomputer based system that will administer the tests, store the responses, and provide facilities for subsequently viewing the responses. The system is currently used by doctors and patients of a psychiatric unit.
